神戸布引教会の祈り
「戦争を嘆き、止めるように」
御恵みはいかに豊かなことでしょう。
あなたを畏れる人のためにそれを蓄え
人の子らの目の前で
あなたに身を寄せる人に、お与えになります。
御もとに彼らをかくまって
人間の謀（はかりごと）から守ってくださいます。
仮庵の中に隠し
争いを挑む舌を免れさせてくださいます。
主をたたえよ。
主は驚くべき慈しみの御業を
都が包囲されたとき、示してくださいました。
恐怖に襲われて、わたしは言いました
「御目の前から断たれた」と。
それでもなお、あなたに向かうわたしの叫びを
嘆き祈るわたしの声を
あなたは聞いてくださいました。
主の慈しみに生きる人はすべて、主を愛せよ。
主は信仰ある人を守り
傲慢な者には厳しく報いられる。
雄々しくあれ、心を強くせよ
主を待ち望む人はすべて。

われらの救い主、主イエス・キリストよ
わたしたちは今、深い嘆きの淵から、あなたに祈り求めます。御言葉に「嘆き祈るわたしの声を、あなたは聞いてくださいました」（23節）とあるからです。
このたびの危機が切迫する中で、祖国を去らざるを得ない人々、生まれた町に留まる人々、家族と隣人、同朋を守るために武器を取り、迫り来る敵に対峙する兵士たち、志願した有志たち、その兵となった父や夫、恋人、友人を涙ながらに送り出した人々、既に攻撃により家を失い、逃げ惑い、傷を負い、命を奪われた人々。これらの悲痛な人間の叫びを聞き取ってください。
この嘆きは、平和を求める者たち全ての嘆きです。ウクライナ国民であろうと周辺諸国、遠く離れた国々に住む者たちであろうと、ロシア国民であろうと数々の戦火と苦しみをくぐり抜けてきた人々が、一つ一つ積み重ねてきた平和への努力を一瞬にして崩す暴挙だからです。
今、わたしたちは主イエスが都エルサレムのために涙を流して嘆かれた言葉を思い起こします。
「もしこの日に、お前も平和への道をわきまえていたなら・・・。しかし、今は、それがお前には見えない」（ルカによる福音書19章42節）
主イエスは、平和は平和の内に学ぶように、この危機の中でも平和を希求し、努力を積み重ねることを求めておられます。
主イエスよ。どうぞ、今こそ、わたしたちに最も身近なところで平和を創り出す者としてください。あなたが「互いに愛し合いなさい」と命じられたことを、今こそ、自らへの命令として、受け止め、平和を創り出す者としてください。
ゼレンスキー大統領の言葉「私たちは自らの手で自分たちの歴史を構築していきたい。平和に、穏やかに、誠実に」を、わたしたちも心に刻み、主が全能の御手をもって、その地に住む人々をお守りくださいますよう祈ります。
そして、主の平和が勝利し、全地に平和がもたらされますように。
主イエス・キリストの御名によって祈ります。

Oh, how abundant is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you
and worked for those who take refuge in you,
in the sight of the children of mankind!
In the cover of your presence you hide them
from the plots of men;
you store them in your shelter
from the strife of tongues.
Blessed be the LORD,
for he has wondrously shown
his steadfast love to me
when I was in a besieged city.
I had said in my alarm,
“I am cut off from your sight.”
But you heard the voice of my pleas for mercy
when I cried to you for help.
Love the LORD, all you his saints!
The LORD preserves the faithful
but abundantly repays the one who acts in pride.
Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the LORD!

Our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, your Word says, "You heard the voice of my pleas for mercy when I cried to you for help " (Psalm 31:22). Now we pray to you from the depths of our sorrow.
In the midst of this grave crisis, we pray for those who are forced to leave their country, those who remain in their birthplaces, those who have taken up arms to defend their friends, the soldiers facing each other, volunteers, those who tearfully sent their fathers, husbands, lovers, and friends who became servicemen, those who have already lost their homes to the attacks, and those who have fled, been wounded, or whose lives have been taken. Hear the agonizing cries and pleas of these people.
Their voices are the lament of all who seek peace, whether it is the people of Ukraine or of neighboring countries, the people of distant nations, or the people of Russia. Many have suffered through numerous wars and hardships, and their efforts toward peace, which has been built brick by brick, have been destroyed in a moment of brutality.
We are reminded of the words of our Lord Jesus, who wept and lamented for Jerusalem. “Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace. But now they are hidden from your eyes" (Luke 19:42). The Lord Jesus asks us to seek and strive for peace even in the midst of this crisis, just as peace is learned while in peace.
Lord, we implore you to make us peacemakers to those closest to us. Reform us so we may grasp that your command to “Love one another” is directed at each and every one of us today, so that we may become peacemakers.
We take to heart the words of President Zelensky, "We want to determine our own course and build our own history: peacefully, calmly, and honestly," and pray that the Lord will protect the people of Ukraine with His almighty hand.
May the peace of the Lord prevail and bring peace to all nations.
We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.
